Delivery Recaps

A clear weekly picture of the work, without manually piecing every update together.

Why I built it

Every client works a little differently. Some have several reviewers at different stages, and a task status alone doesn’t always tell the full story. Compiling a useful weekly update meant checking what was moving, what had finished and where someone still needed to make a decision.

What changed

The automation gathers work in progress, upcoming tasks, recently completed pieces and outstanding questions into one recap. It saves me time compiling updates and gives me a useful starting point for client communication. The value is in applying what we know about each client’s workflow, so that the update explains where the work stands and what needs to happen next.

Weekly delivery recap

Hi Northline team,

Quick recap on everything in progress.

Editorial content

  • Market research article — signed off and ready for publishing.

  • Implementation guide — outline ready for your subject-matter expert’s review.

Coming up next

The next two briefs are scheduled for next week, once October’s priorities are confirmed.

One question for you

Would you rather pause delivery while the team is away at the offsite, or shall we press on delivering, and you can come back to it in your inbox when you’re ready?

Thanks all!
